RedDot Joins Jones Racing
Jon Zimmerman’s impressive ride will be adding some color. Red Dot Corporation announced Tuesday that they will be the title sponsor of the U-9 Jones Racing for the 2013 season. The boat will race as “Team Red Dot”.
Gary Hansen, vice president of Red Dot Corporation, said, “Since there is no U-17 Miss Red Dot this year, we decided to partner with the U-9. With the season that they had in 2012 and their performance in Doha, they were the logical choice, along with the fact that two crew members, one being the crew chief, are employee owners at Red Dot.”
Hansen added, “Our associate sponsors were planning on racing with us again this year so it just made sense to keep up our level of involvement in the sport. Besides, that boat needs some color. The ‘Team Red Dot’ embodies the spirit of our business partners; Fastenal, Spal Automotive, TCCI Manufacturing, OSI Consulting, Estes Forwarding Worldwide and Eaton Aeroquip and our new partners; Cashmere Molding and Radar Electric”. With two new races, Red Dot is very excited to once again be a part of the H1 Unlimited 2013 racing season.”
The familiar circular Red Dot logo has been added to the 9 for Big Wake Weekend on Sacramento’s Folsom Lake and additional color will be added before the next race in Madison, Indiana in early July. The boat will race as “Miss Roxsand presents Team Red” Dot this weekend.
Red Dot is also continuing its relationship with Our Gang Racing’s U-95 as an associate sponsor.
