David Lemon – Webster Racing Crew Chief

LEMONWebster Racing LLC’s U-22 unlimited hydroplane racing team is proud to announce its new crew chief, David Lemon.  David comes to the U-22 with high praise from the legendary driver/crew chief, John Walters.

2014 will mark David’s 20th year working with the unlimited hydroplanes.  Over the years, he has gained valuable knowledge and experience while working with winning crew chiefs John Walters, Ron Brown, and Mark Smith.  He started as a general crew member with Mike Eacrett and the U-24 race team in 1994.  In 1997 he and his dad, Randy Lemon, helped build the Jeronimo Racing team’s turbine dyno test facility and worked as the team’s electrical and data acquisition specialists.  When the team merged with the USA racing partners, David and Randy each worked on one of the two boats.  David feels that every team he has had the pleasure of working with has brought him more experience and skills to become a successful crew chief.

Professionally, David works for Fluke Electronics in Everett Washington as a Field Support Technician specializing in repair and calibration of electronic test equipment.

Stay tuned as another crew announcement is coming soon.  2014 will be a great season for Mike Webster and his U-22 race team
