The U-1 Oberto is owned by the Miss Madison Racing Team of Madison, IN and is the only community owned team in sport. Jimmy Shane is the reigning Gold Cup & H1 Unlimited High Points Champion.
U-3 Go3 Racing
Go3 Racing is owned by Ed Cooper, based in Evansville, IN. Returning after a four year absence, it is the only piston powered boat in the fleet, powered by a dual turbocharged Allison V-12.
U-5 Porter Racing I
The U-5 Graham Trucking I is campaigned by Porter Racing from Decatur, IN. J. Michael Kelly is a multi-time inductee of the APBA Hall of Champions and has been driving Unlimiteds since 2004.
U-7 Porter Racing II
The U-7 Graham Trucking II is campaigned by Porter Racing from Decatur, IN. 2015 will be Jesse Robertson’s first full season in H1, having gained his rookie ride at the UIM World Championship in 2014.
U-9 Jones Racing
The U-9 Red Dot/Les Schwab entry is owned by Mike & Lori Jones and based in Enumclaw, WA. Driver Scott Liddycoat returns to H1 after two years away – he currently also drives the “Dragon” Monster Truck.
U-11 Unlimited Racing Group
The U-11 Miss Peters & May is owned by Scott & Shannon Raney, based in Edmonds, WA. Driver Tom Thompson brings decades of Limited experience to the team, having been an APBA National Champion multiple times.
U-12 Centurion Racing
The U-12 Miss DiJulio is owned by Jay Leckrone and Denise Garl, based in Burien, WA. Driver Patrick Sankuer joins the team in 2015, getting his first taste of Unlimiteds after racing GP hydros for years.
U-18 Bucket List Racing
The U-18 Bucket List Racing entry is owned by Kelly Stocklin, based in Snohomish, WA. Stocklin drives the U-18 as well, and is the only boat in the series using the Lycoming T-53 turbine engine.
U-21 Go Fast Turn Left Racing
The U-21 Albert Lee Appliance entry is owned by Greg & Brian O’Farrell, based in Maple Valley, WA. Driver Brian Perkins has been with the team since 2007.
U-22 Webster Racing
The U-22 Webster Racing team is a real family operation – owned by Steve & Sue Webster, based in Reading, PA and driven by son Mike. They joined the Unlimited ranks in 2009 after years in the limited classes.
U-27 Wiggins Racing
The U-27 Wiggins Racing Team is owned by Milt & Charley Wiggins, based in Gadsden, AL. They purchased the U-17 hull for 2015 and driver Cal Phipps has extensive experience with the team, having driven in many other series for Wiggins.
U-96 Ellstrom Racing
The U-96 Ellstrom Racing hydroplane is owned by Erick Ellstrom, based in Seattle, WA. The U-96 hull was new in 2014 and driver Jean Theoret rejoins the series for 2015.
U-100 Leland Unlimited
Long-time H1 participant and multi-race winner, Leland Unlimited is based in Kirkland, WA and returns with rookie Kevin Eacret in the driver’s seat for 2015.

A stable mate of the U-13, the U-2 Spirit of Detroit II is based in Detroit, MI. It was originally campaigned by Jim Harvey, sold to Ken Muscatel, then purchased by Dave Bartush.

U-13 Spirit of Detroit
The U-13 Spirit of Detroit is based in Detroit, MI and last raced in the 2012 Gold Cup in Detroit. Owned by Dave Bartush, the boat is the only hull to win the Gold Cup in three different decades.
U-37 Schumacher Racing
Schumacher Racing is owned by the legendary Billy Schumacher and wife Jane. The team is based in Seattle, WA and has been competing in H1 since 2006. The team won the 2006 Gold Cup with driver Jean Theoret.
