Legacy Racing U-37 2025 Season Announcement
Our newly formed team Legacy Racing, is proud to announce that Brent Hall of Bothell, Washington will be driving the U-37 hydroplane for the 2025 H1 Unlimited Hydroplane season. We are excited to begin the tradition of Legacy Racing, by helping Brent achieve his goal of becoming a qualified H1 Unlimited driver. He was so close last year, has become a fan favorite, and his positive demeanor and promotion of the sport is unmatched.
Legacy Racing, formerly known as Schumacher Racing, was founded in 2006 and they made a significant impact on the sport, triumphing in a total of four prestigious events, including the renowned APBA Gold Cup. For 2025, co ownership duties, will be shared between Crystal Weiding and Jane Suzick. Operations will be run by Team Principal Jeff Weiding who is beginning to source candidates for Crew Chief and Crew members for next season.
“We have a ton of momentum, and foundational pieces are coming together quickly. With the addition of Brent, and Brent Hall Racing, more doors are opening and we are anxious to get the U-37 back on the water in honor of Billy Schumacher, his good friend Bill Muncey, and all of the great drivers and teams that have come before us.” – Jeff Weiding
Our mission statement is building for the future as well. Legacy Racing is where dreams become reality. From the past, to current, and even the future, we strive for inclusivity, expanding the reach of our sport, and championships at all costs. To all of our fans and family, the legacy starts here. – Legacy Racing
“I am extremely honored to build our racing tradition at Legacy Racing, and to be the Underdog again that people will root for on the race course. There are an extremely limited number of Unlimited hydroplane seats in the world, and proud that we are adding another one!” – Brent Hall
Stay tuned for many more updates on our progress as we move forward. The future looks promising, follow our journey!
