BWR Racing Owner Bruce Ratchford Joins Hydrotown Racing
Pasco, WA March 4 – BWR Racing of Kennewick, Washington today announced owner Bruce Ratchford has become a partner in the recently established Hydrotown Racing, Inc. Ratchford joins Strong Racing owner Darrell Strong in the private company formed to promote and market the sport of unlimited hydroplane racing. After a reorganization of American Powerboat Racing Association in 2023 Hydrotown acquired the media rights to racing activities under the H1 Unlimited Series brand. ABRA is a separate entity governing the sport through it’s American Power Boat Association Club affiliation.
Bruce Ratchford recently surprised unlimited fans when he purchased the assets of Miss Madison Racing, Inc. and then added the U-27 hull to his fleet. His Apollo Mechanical also has multi-year sponsorship commitments with two races in the series. He has promised fans will love what his race team has in store for the coming season.
