Jane Schumacher, co-owner of the U-37 Miss Peters & May pass out crew polo shirts at the team's going away party on Wednesday night. The defending UIM World Champion race team is scheduled to begin its journey to the Oryx Cup UIM World Championship on Saturday. In addition to sponsoring the U-37, Peters & May, the ABRA's shipping partner, also sponsored the shipping of the ABRA rescue boat.

AUBURN, Wash. (November 6, 2009)- Dave Villwock, driver of the U-16 Ellstrom Elam Plus said today he is recovering from his August 23 crash in the Thunder on the Ohio race in Evansville, Ind.

The U-16 Ellstrom Elam Plus suffered a blow-over type crash in preliminary heat 1A while Villwock and Steve David in the U-1 Oh Boy! Oberto raced within inches of each other.

SEATTLE (Oct. 27, 2009) Schumacher Racing announced today they have secured Peters & May USA as a sponsor for the inaugural Oryx Cup UIM World Championship Nov. 19-21, 2009 on Doha Bay in the Arabian Gulf.

Peters & May is no stranger to powerboat racing. The company ships many racing yachts, boats worldwide and are transporting all ten unlimited hydroplanes to Qatar for the American Boat Racing Association’s second international race in its history. In addition to shipping race teams, Peters and May ships boats for consumers, manufacturers and dealers by sea, air, and road.

After a Fourth of July holiday weekend full of picnics, barbeques, and get-togethers complete with a lot of eating, there is one-man still hungry.

Steve David, driver of the national champion U-1 Oh Boy! Oberto unlimited hydroplane is hungry to win the only race he has not won on the American Boat Racing Association's schedule.  The 100th running of the Gold Cup on the Detroit River.

Formula team moves to new shop

During the week of October 27th, 2008, P.P.E., L.L.C. moved into a new shop building located in Decatur, Indiana. The new boat racing shop is ironically the former home of an Anheuser-Busch distribution facility, but the two interconnected 100’ X 60’ buildings have the necessary floorspace for U-5 Racing to have all of their equipment under one roof.
