Amid media reports that a race in Brazil has been added to the schedule for 2010, H1 Chairman Sam Cole issued the following statement:

"We have been made aware of published reports regarding an H1 Unlimited event in Brazil next April or early May. We have had  productive meetings with the potential promoter and continue to discuss the details surrounding such an event. However, we have not reached any "final agreement" which would allow for any formal announcement. There is still much to work through from a logistics perspective. As the details materialize we will keep everyone informed when the time is appropriate to provide information. This is an exciting opportunity for our sport should all of the pieces align themselves in the weeks ahead, but we are a bit premature at this point in time to make any announcement of a race."
