Villwock takes wild ride at Moses Lake Solar Cup

U-96 Spirit of Qatar driver Dave Villwock escaped uninjured following an amazing spiraling flip at the Moses Lake Solar Cup on April 30. Villwock, driving his SS400 Superstock flatbottom, was lining up for the start of a heat when the boat got out of shape and hooked violently to the right, tumbling in a 720 degree spiral, narrowly missing two other boats to his outside, and landing right side up.
According to reports, Villwock was fine upon leaving the rescue boat while the boat sustained minor damage and will be repaired.
