Red Dot Renews Our Gang Racing
Red Dot Corporation will return for a fourth consecutive season as the lead sponsor of the U-17 unlimited hydroplane driven by Kip Brown in the 2012 Air National Guard H1 racing series.
The U-17 Miss Red Dot, owned by Our Gang Racing of Preston, Wash., will compete on the six-race circuit which starts July 6-8 in Madison, Ind.
Spal USA, Fastenal, Que, Eaton Aero Quip, and OSI Consulting have renewed as associate sponsors.
The U-17 Miss Red Dot had its most successful season in 2011, with eight heat victories and three podium finishes for fifth place in the overall points standings.
“Miss Red Dot is clearly one of the frontrunners in 2012,” said Gary Hansen, vice president at Red Dot, a Seattle-based manufacturer of heating and air conditioning products for heavy-duty vehicles. “With Kip’s talent, the crew’s hard work, and the continued support of the sponsors, we’re looking forward to building on last year’s success.”
