Setup Day In Doha
95 & 96 Spirit of Qatar - Photo by H1
H1 Unlimited race teams and officials are in Doha, Qatar, setting up for the 2013 Oryx Cup UIM World Championship.
Crews were busy on Thursday (setup day) getting ready for testing, qualifying and heats 1 and 2 which will take place on Friday. Heats 2 and 3 are scheduled for Saturday, with heats 4 and the Final on Tuesday the 12th – which is Qatar’s National Sports Day.

In the photo, Ellstrom Racing’s 96 Spirit of Qatar is on the right. The boat was badly damaged in a race here in January.
The boat on the left is Our Gang Racing’s 17 Miss Red Dot which has been wrapped in the same colors and will race as the 95 Spirit of Qatar with Kip Brown driving.
