S.W.O.T. Analysis Will Aid H1 Planning
H1 Unlimited Hydroplanes and the University of Denver are teaming up to develop a S.W.O.T. analysis of the sport.
“This is a great opportunity get an outside, objective review of our sport,” said H1 Chairman Steve David.
“If unlimited hydroplane racing is going to grow, we need a realistic plan and Denver University is going to help us do just that.”
A S.W.O.T. analysis is an organized list of your business’s greatest strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (S.W.O.T) in the marketplace for an organization or business. It can be used can use a to assess a changing environment and aid in response.
Once the S.W.O.T. analysis is delivered, H1 will develop short-term and long-term strategies.
“In business, you have to maximize the positive influences on your business and minimize the negative ones,” added David. “This analysis will help us develop straightforward, meaningful, actionable strategies for H1 Unlimited Hydroplane Racing.”
Long time, unlimited hydroplane content producer and Professor of Finance at the University of Denver, Maclyn ‘Mac’ Clouse will oversee the project. Clouse was the director of the University’s Small Business Administration Small Business Institute from 1990 to 1995 and chaired the Reiman School of Finance for 25 years.
He has extensive media expertise and has been quoted by local, regional and national press, including ABC’s World News. He is particularly adept at explaining complex financial situations in lay terms and in presenting explanations that help readers and viewers understand the various ways changes in the local or national economy will affect their day-to-day lives.
“We are fortunate to have Mac in the mix for this S.W.O.T Analysis,” said David. “He is an expert in his field and understands our sport.”
The project will start in September and should be completed by early December.
