Stocklin hospitalized after boat flips in San Diego

Kelly Stocklin, 64 of Edmonds,WA owner/driver of the U-18 Bucket List Racing H1 Unlimited hydroplane flipped his raceboat Friday in preparation for Sunday’s Bill Muncey Cup race on Mission Bay.
Stocklin, who was conscious after the crash was transported via ambulance to a local hospital.
As a precaution, he is being held overnight for observation.
The boat suffered extensive damage and has been withdrawn.
