U-27 to Carry DiJulio in WA Races
The Miss DiJulio Racing Team, LLC., consisting of co owners Christopher DiJulio and his cousin Brian DiJulio, are pleased to announce that they have contracted with Wiggins Hydroplane, LLC., to be their Title Sponsor for the two H1 Unlimited races in Washington State, which is Tri Cities Waterfollies, and Seafair in Seattle, Wa.
“We couldn’t be more excited as we enter our 5th season as an H1 Title Sponsor, “ said Chris DiJulio, “We believe we have a great combination of enthusiastic marketing on our end and world class performance on their end.”
The Wiggins U-27, finished last season in third as far as points in the H1 standings, and were voted Team of the Year by H1 and their peers for their great performance in 2015. Charley Wiggins, who heads up the team is hoping for more of the same in 2016. “We continue to try and drive performance in all facets of the sport,” states Charley, “we’re working everyday to fine tune the boat and put the best equipment possible under Cal Phipps, our driver, and our partnership with the DiJulio family helps us to do just that.”
The DiJulio’s respective companies, Lincoln Moving and Storage, and Washington Asset Management will be represented on the boat’s cowling, while the popular “MISS DIJULIO” logo will again be displayed on the sponsons of the boat. “We’ve always been about honoring our family by supporting this great historic sport here in the Northwest,” says Brian DiJulio, “we know that John Nicholas DiJulio, who came to Seattle from Italy in 1898, is looking down with a smile as the Miss DiJulio flies down the straightaway! We all get a little emotional when we see her out there on the water, it’s a lifelong dream come true.”
We are extremely grateful to our 2016 co sponsors, Windermere Real Estate, (Jill Jacobi Wood and O.B. Jacobi), San Gennaro Festival, (Jerry Mascio), and “Wings Over Washington”, a brand new thrill ride launching Seafair week on the Pier next to the Seattle Great Wheel, (Kyle Griffith)…please remember to patronize our generous co sponsors! See you on the water!
