The course is designated by buoys and different colors signify different things. White buoys form the outer markers. Two white cylindrical buoys form the start/finish line. Yellow triangular buoys mark the entrance and exits of the turns. Orange buoys mark the inside of the course. Orange with yellow stripe buoys mark the DMZ areas. When GP boats race with H1, their turns are marked with green buoys
